Georgia Council
of Teachers of English

Following on the success of Teaching in the Wild at Jekyll Island last year, join Brian Clements, Jessica Stephenson Reaves, Jennifer Dail, Rob Montgomery, and Amanda Montgomery for Teaching in the Garden, a GCTE pre-conference workshop planned for Thursday, Feb 6, from 12-5pm.

Participants will engage with the amazing natural beauty of Callaway Gardens as we consider place-based teaching strategies, "touching nature" activities, classroom writing prompts, STEM connections, and much more. Use your Nature Journaling Starter Kit to inspire your own exploration in this unique location.

Registration for the workshop ($55) is separate from the GCTE conference registration fee.

Read the bios of the workshop facilitators.
