Teachers for the Dream Award
GCTE invites applications for the Teachers for the Dream Award, which recognizes outstanding teachers of color. The application deadline is November 7, 2025.
Requirements for the award:
- Applicants must be full-time English/Language Arts (ELA) teachers at the middle, secondary, or college level.
- Submit a current resume or CV
- Submit a one-page, single-spaced statement of teaching philosophy
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a colleague or professional mentor
