Georgia Council of Teachers of EnglishSince 1923, the Georgia Council of Teachers of English has served as the professional home for English Language Arts educators across Georgia, from pre-K classrooms to university lecture halls. As the official state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), GCTE welcomes teachers, administrators, college faculty, education majors, and all those passionate about the teaching of English Language Arts. Our organization is guided by a dedicated Executive Board made up of experienced educators who reflect the diverse voices of our state. Together, they shape the vision, programming, and advocacy efforts that support literacy education in Georgia’s schools and institutions.
