GCTE Book Study Grants
Book study grants are designed to support self-identified groups (3-7 members) interested in the sustained study of a particular text (e.g., a YA novel, a scholarly work, a practitioner-focused professional development text, etc.). Funding supports purchase of copies of the text for each participant.
Eligibility Requirements
GCTE membership for the grant proposer and participants
Application letter with description, rationale, requested level of support, and contact information for each participant (max grant is $300)
Deliverables
Grant recipients are asked to report on the impact, outcomes, or implications of their work in one or more of the contexts below.
Presentation at the subsequent GCTE annual conference (session proposals based on book study grants will receive selection priority)
Article in Scribbles 'N Bits (the GCTE newsletter)
Article in Connections (the GCTE journal) detailing the group’s work
