Our Vision The Georgia Council of Teachers of English invites ELA educators from across the state to join us in reimagining learning through student experience. Our 2026 conference honors student voice, celebrates educator impact, and elevates the stories that shape Georgia's classrooms. Theme: Every Voice Matters This year's theme, Every Voice Matters, invites us to center our instructional practices around the diverse, creative, and authentic voices of our students. Sessions will explore how voice emerges in writing, discussion, and literacy development - highlighting how educators amplify student perspectives through intentional, inclusive instruction. Conference At-a-Glance Dates: February 6-7, 2026 Pre-Conference Feb. 5th Location: Macon Marriott City Center |
