The GCTE pre-conference experience invites educators to learn in place at Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park. This session introduces place-based writing and explores how writing grounded in observation and experience can support student voice, engagement, and experiential learning. Participants will engage in guided observation, reflective writing, and facilitated exploration in an outdoor learning environment.
